Star Trek Online- My take on it
This game is pretty good, I knew my graphics card was outdated and was going to get the best one before TOR comes out, but this game really shows how old it is, and thats a good thing! I can already tell the graphics are real crisp and the gameplay is real solid. I had doubts about this game because i tried Star Trek Legacy, but this is in a whole new field. Ground combat is actually more enjoyable than I thought and space combat is just as fun, though I found it annoying that I couldn't turn on a dime, but its a huge ship so the mechanics are built with common sense. I haven't learned what some of the buttons do on the command line, but I've played it long enough to say that this is a completely different game when it comes to micro-managing, espically during space combat.
I must thank Triso for sending me a trial key, I want to buy this game my friend for sure.
I give this a 4/5 only because I haven't gotten to explore yet.
Also since I'm playing the trooper when TOR comes out, it seems like I'm playing exactly like I would play him

Re: Star Trek Online- My take on it
Finally did some exploring yesturday, got whopped a few times going to places i didnt belong, then Triso logged in lol. Got to do a few open party based missions and I got to say this game deserves a 4/5 or better. Got to put a few hours into it and feel that both the ground and space play are definitely rock solid. I shall buy this game within the next few weeks and make this my main MMO until TOR.

Other than the game showing that my graphics card is old nope. I had no real problems getting used to the gameplay after an hour or two.
